108 Sun Salutations at Soul At Home

Rejoice in the change of the season by completing a traditional Yoga Mala – 108 Sun Salutations. There is a sacred significance to 108 in many spiritual traditions. For instance, there are 108 beads in the mala (prayer beads) and the rosary. When we reflect on the significance of the sun, we are reminded that the sun is the illuminator of our world, that it is our primary source of heat and the giver of life. As we practice this meditative flow, we burn off the impurities of yesterday and come into the light of the sun more vibrant than before.
